Audiobook Challenge for 2010

I’m so very excited that I found this challenge on another blog.  I love audiobooks.  This comes from spending about two hours in the car every day.  What else am I going to do while I am stuck in traffic?  Anyways, I’m catching on a little late, but I’m still going to go for the Obsessed category.  This will give me a chance to listen to 20 (or more) audiobooks.  I’m not going to plan them too far ahead of time.  I’ll just list them as I go along.

Completed so far:

1.  Elphame’s Choice by P.C. Cast

2.  On Location: Secrets of My Hollywood Life by Jen Calonita

3.  Emma by Jane Austen

  1. Hello Jennifer,
I am amazed at how many wonderful books you’ve read so far and are intending to read as part of the awesome reading challenges.
Thank you for introducing me to the Audio-book challenge. It sounds pretty interesting.

    Enjoy 🙂

    • Aren’t you excited by the audiobook challenge?!? I was so happy that I found that. I’ve found that I usually go through about two books a week give or take. When I am not teaching my college courses, I go through a lot more books because I don’t have as many essays to grade. When I am taking my MA classes, I read a lot more because I have to keep up with my studies for school. The greatest part about being an English graduate student is that you have to read as most of your homework. I’ve always written something about the books that I read, so this is an exciting extension to that. Thanks for visiting.

  2. I’m participating in this one as well. I always have an audio book going; love them as long as there are not too too many character to keep track of. Have fun.

    • I have a tendency to read and listen to a book. So, I have the audiobook going while I am in the car, and then I read the chapters when I get a chance at home. I would say that is not the norm, but it’s the only way that I can get through a book in less than a month.
